The "goprene" compounds are obtained by extruding sbs (styrene-butadiene-styrene) elastomers and incorporating styrenic polymers that represent the "rigid" thermoplastic matrix.

Granulate synthetic resins that are obtained from this blend have all the elastic characteristics of rubber, typical of reticulated elastomers, with the advantage that they can be thermoplastically processed.

General properties

The translucent and crepe grades are obtained by choosing components that give thermoplastic products certain characteristics of transparency in addition to excellent elastic properties that ensure an optimal aesthetic appearance and can be easily painted to create soles that require transparent, satin-finish or crêpe effect surfaces.

They offer fluidity, opacity, transparency and gloss with excellent resistance to abrasion and to changes in temperature (cold resistance).

Goprene resins, are compounds that are easy to process and the transformation technology adapts to the moulding of bicolour or tricolour products; many of them are even suitable to be painted and finally have excellent bonding capabilities.

It is advisable to store the product in a covered area that is sheltered from humidity and heat sources as thermoplastic materials that are ready for use are sensitive to changes in temperature.
